The applications designed by Genieomics begin by modeling the best sales practices in use at the point where the sale is often made - on the "shop floor." In essence, each application strives to deliver a key answer to the retail customer's most basic questions:

By electronically representing all this information the way retailers understand it, the knowledge currently available in the store can be delivered consistently to customers, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Although the service is packaged with the core product, the application suite has a modular design so that each retailer can adopt only those features that are interesting to their overall store presentation. For example, in a warehouse-style hardware store, the convenience of the ArticleLocatorTM is appropriate. For another retailer, such as IKEA, the complex layout is designed expressly to have the customer walk around the entire showroom and see the merchandise, and the GNX GuidedTour application is more appropriate.

These applications form the basic package of the RetailGenie.
GNX ArticleLocate TM Coupled with a physical mapping application for the retail manager, this allows a retail customer or sales agent to locate an article in the store. For hurried shoppers, business consumers, or shopping list holders, this application represents a unique and differentiating service.
GNX PAC TM In addition to basic pricing and promotion information, the Promotion and Audio Couponing (PAC) application creates the possibility of audio coupons to further encourage the customer to buy.
GNX CrossSale TM This application allows the retailer to add an extra dimension to the sale by associating peripheral articles to key sales, such as add-ons or accessories, consumable supplies, delivery and installation, extended warrantees, and other services.
GNX UpSale TM This application allows the retailer to add an extra dimension to the sale by making suggestions to the customer about the nearest-most expensive articles currently under scrutiny. It follows a familiar sales methodology that states that most shoppers are ready to spend a little more than intended to achieve a positive outcome.
GNX Shopping Cart TM The shopper registers the items they are going to purchase by scanning them with the Genie as they are placed in their shopping cart. Before leaving the store, the shopper places the Genie in a Check-Out Cradle, and which downloads information about the items selected for purchase into the retailer's point-of-sale system, and produces a receipt.
GNX GuidedTour TM For the discriminating shopper seeking a different retail experience, this application facilitates a "walk through the store," introducing the key areas, notable merchandise or services, and providing store background. This module is ideal for curiosity stores, model homes, auto lots, and other brand-reinforcing applications.
GNX RecommendEngine TM Using familiar interactive voice response techniques, this advanced application allows the customer to zero in on gifts for friends and family based on several selection models. By selecting the recipient's interests, the occasion, and the buyer's budget, the system assists the retail shopper towards a reduced set of choices.
GNX Personalizer TM This next-generation application allows the system to incorporate personal greetings, preference memory, advanced recommendations and shopping list functions into the system.
GNX Survey Delivery TM This application allows the retailer to gather product specific feedback from shoppers through the user of multiple choice survey questions.
GNX Social Pack TM This set of components will be a welcome add-on for retail environments where casual browsers, groups and families are a regular appearance. It includes custom background music, entertainment and jokes, games for kids (like trivia, and virtual "tag").
